We’re glad to roll out a feature that’s essential to managing your team effectively: roles and permissions. You can now assign different permission levels to your employees, giving you better control over who can do what in Mechmate.

Super administrator

The super administrator has full access to the entire application, including critical configurations. It’s the highest access level, with complete control over every Mechmate feature.

Administrator

Administrators can perform every action available on the platform, including managing services, inventory, invoicing and users. They’re responsible for overseeing the system as a whole.

Technician and/or employee

Technicians get an interface built around their day-to-day work. It leaves out the configuration options and focuses on quick access to work orders, workflows and customer records, so they can stay on the operational tasks that matter to their role.

Onboarding

To help you get up and running, we’ve added a short setup guide when you create your account. It walks you through setting your business name, location, hourly rate and more. The goal is a better experience from day one and a smoother start with the app.
